Specialist residential Short Breaks from Social Care, for disabled children and young people with complex needs for the ages 5 to 18 years.
These breaks offer regular planned overnight breaks and are provided in 2 locations in Suffolk. Ambleside is a four-bedroom house located in Stowmarket, and Maryland is a larger, ground floor house located in Bury St Edmunds.
Suffolk County Council commissions a provider called Achieving Aspirations to deliver this service. Access is via an assessment from the Disabled Children's and Young persons Team. An assessment can by requested by contacting Customer First on 08009171109 or 0808 800 4005.
