Summer just got exciting with Leading Lives! Summer Clubs at the Lowestoft Community Hub are full of fun, creativity and new adventures for young people aged 13–19 with learning disabilities and/or autism.
The club runs three days a week in August, from 10am–3pm, and each five‑hour session is planned with the young people themselves. Together, they’ve made a cool set of “core activities” that help everyone:
- Relax and have loads of fun
- Make friends and build great relationships
- Try new activities and learn new skills
- Grow independence, confidence and self‑esteem
While young people enjoy amazing summer days, families and carers get a much‑needed break too.
