EAST offer opportunities for young people 10+ and their carer/family member to experience sailing activities from the Suffolk Yacht Harbour base on the River Orwell.

Weekends, fortnightly from May - September

Hoist the sails and get ready for adventure! This group offers brilliant sailing opportunities for disadvantaged and disabled young people - and sometimes their families - at Suffolk Yacht Harbour on the River Orwell.

Every other Saturday from May to September, mornings focus on hands‑on sailing skills with friendly instructors, while afternoons offer relaxed leisure sails. Fresh air, teamwork and unforgettable moments on the water! Children aged 8 -9 may attend with family/carer support.
