While our schools and colleges are on their summer break now, Suffolk County Council is continuing to work to support our children and young people with Additional needs.
See what support is availableUniversal health services
To access any health service in Suffolk you, or your child/young person will need to be registered with a Suffolk GP.
Specialist health services
Some children and young people, including children with SEND, will have more complex needs and may need to access more specialist services.
Help understanding the health care system
The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) offers confidential advice, support and information on health-related matters. They are a point of contact for patients, their families and their carers.
You can find officers from PALS in your local hospital, on the NHS Choices website, by phoning NHS 111, or you can ask your GP surgery or hospital.
